Breakfast Chai Muesli

Adita Yrizarry-Lang

Chai spices always add such a warming feeling into the body. Here's a wonderful breakfast treat to add protein, quality fats, and the right carbohydrates to give you energy and zest for a great day!

Make a big batch and store in an airtight container for at least week. This recipe gives you about 8 servings but feel free to play with your proportions to make the right size batch for you.

**Choosing Organic for all your ingredients provides a higher level of nutritional density, "just a thought"

Here's what you'll need

4 Cups of Raw Rolled Oats

4 Tablespoons of Raw Sprouted Sunflower Seeds

4 Tablespoons of Chopped Dates

7 teaspoons of Chopped Candied Ginger (Look at the ingredients - only ginger, and a quality sweetener - nothing else!)

4 Tablespoons Dried Mulberries or Dried Goji Berries (or both)

4 Tablespoons Sliced Almonds

1/2 Cup Either - Dried Chopped Apples (if your going to store it) or add the apples fresh when you serve it

1 teaspoon Powdered Cinnamon

1 teaspoon Powdered Nutmeg

Make it

When your ready to serve you can try it in two different ways:

1. You can soak it overnight in your favorite nut milk. Placing just enough milk to cover whats in your bowl - A typical serving of 1/2 a Cup takes 1/2 a Cup of nut milk.

2. Heat up some water or nut milk and add to your muesli and let sit for two minutes. Just put in enough liquid to lightly cover your muesli

In Peace, Love, and Health,

Adita
